Since DermaEsthetica opened its doors in 2002, they have experienced a steady flow of loyal, repeat clientele. "Our clients are those who don't just do facials just for special occasions," said Marina Volod, owner of DermaEsthetica.
"They are the ones who truly believe that by making monthly facials a part of a regular self-care routine, they can help prevent the signs of aging, and even improve their general health."
DermaEsthetica sets itself apart from other skin and body care facilities."Our endless passion for knowledge; years of clinical experience; unique custom created treatments; personalized attention to each client; and advanced equipment all help us successfully succeed in the highly competitive spa world," Volod notes.
She has noticed the dramatic growth of spa facilities all over the world and "some of them quite beautiful, but at the same time there is a strong decline in the quality of treatments and spas became mass production facilities with high priced treatments, poorly trained aestheticians and massage therapists; as well as average, one-size fits all treatments.
"By contrast, at DermaEsthetica, we believe that everybody's skin is unique; it's changing constantly depending on your age, the season, level of stress, life habits, health status or the environment, and this is why every treatment needs to be customized precisely for your individual needs," Volod says.
At DermaEsthetica they embrace a "cre-ative approach toward each and every client; you never will receive an average one-size-fits-all facial. Our menu of treatments never stays the same."
"We specialize in pigmentation, acne, anti aging, corrective and rejuvenating procedures," she says. "DermaEsthetica is a creator of a very effective, unique signature 'non- surgical face lift' program which is combining a few cutting age powerful technologies such as ultrasonic, cold laser, microcurent, oxygen infusion, and signature contouring facial massage. Our rejuvenation 'non surgical face lift' program was created with a results-oriented, clinical approach, helping improve and restore the skin's elasticity, firmness and skin texture."
The latest addition at DermaEsthetica is the Oxygen infusion facial, popular "because it has been mentioned by Madonna and many other celebrities who get great results from this treatment. Sometimes it is also called Oxygen no-needle injection technique or Oxygen Mesotherapy," explains Volod.
She adds that during this treatment, "hyperbaric, pressured oxygen is used in conjunction with highly concentrated bio-active ingredients such as peptides, anti-oxidants and vitamins. Oxygen infusion treatments are based on the scientific fact that oxygen is a vital nutrient for healthy, youthful skin."Without oxygen, Volod explains, "our skin is not able to produce new skin cells, generate collagen or properly heal from wounds. The use of oxygen to speed the healing process of surgical wounds and topical burns has been used in hospitals for years. In just one 30 minute treatment here at DermaEsthetica, your skin will look and feel nourished and hydrated, and cell renewal and skin regeneration are stimulated. It also accelerates the production of collagen."
In addition to the results- oriented, clinical treatments in the facial department, DermaEsthetica offers massage treatments.
"Our massage therapist Lev Volod has extensive experience working in a clinical environment and created his own, very unique, effective technique which combines a Russian deep tissue rehabilitation method dedicated to restore the movement around the joints and improve the muscle-energy level, and structural energetic therapy," Marina says.
She explains that structural energetic therapy is a "body restructuring therapy that incorporates medical massage techniques and works from the client's problem areas, releasing specific areas of pain. Lev is a truly gifted professional who goes beyond the traditional Swedish relaxation technique to specialize in corrective treatments.
"There is more to massage therapy than just rubbing and stroking. The concept of energy maintenance is very important in massage therapy. Massage therapists feel around the body for weaknesses in the body's seven chakras (energies), and attempt to enhance a person's energetic capabilities. The feeling that a massage therapist gets about the person's energy when he massages a person's body is an indescribable, intuitive one. And this is what separates a great massage therapist from an ordinary one- an ability to combine intuitive and scientific analyses," Volod says.
She adds that Lev believes in the "incredible power of therapeutic massage and its ability to improve blood circulation, restore joint and muscle function and flexibility, reduce chronic pain, improve energy levels and dramatically reduce stress."
From head to toe, DermaEsthetica personalizes care to meet your individual needs.
