DermaEsthetica adds massage therapist
Cold Laser and Botu-Like Transdermal facials to serve you

Since opening their doors in 2002, DermaEsthetica is proud of its dramatic growth while still managing to update their facial treatments every year.
“We still emphasize mostly preventative, anti aging, and corrective therapies, which include the latest and advanced skin care treatments such as micro current, oxygen infusion, ultrasonic, diamond microdermabrasion,light treatment,” said owner and esthetician Marina Volod.“

Not only do we update our treatment list regularly but
we also provide very personalized treatments.” The shape of each client’s skin condition determines
the course of treatment. Recently she added new services to her skin care business.

“After my visit to a European skin conference in London dedicated to the newest skin care procedures on rejuvenation, I added the Cold Laser to the list of DeremaEsthetica treatments,” Volod notes. “Because research all over the world still finds questionable the long term effects
on the skin from traditional laser therapies,Cold Laser is one of newest and promising therapies available for clients who are seeking safe and non invasive procedures for rejuvenating the skin.”

She explains that Cold Laser produces light or photon energy with the unique property of being able to penetrate up to two inches below the skin surface causing an increase in cellular metabolism with no tissue damage whatsoever.“This unique state of the art equipment is a combination of the laser light with LED therapies. It is often called ‘Therapeutic Laser’ and possesses incredible healing power,” Volod notes, adding that it also works on acne, psoriases, rosacea and eczema affected skin. (It is different from traditional lasers because it is does not produce any thermal damage to skin cells, making it safe to use on any skin type.

Another new treatment added at DermaEsthetica is the Butu-Like Transdermal Facial, which is a transdermal alternative to the BOTOX® injection. Unlike BOTOX® ,Botu-Like is a non-needle treatment that is placed over the wrinkled area of the skin and then absorbed into the skin with an ultrasound hand held unit.Botu-Like contains acetyl hexapeptide, a patented combination of amino acids engineered to relax wrinkles,mimicking the effect of BOTOX® injections.“Many clients have noticed that the depth of their wrinkles reduced and their skin feels deeply hydrated and more relaxed,” Volod says.

In addition, they have added massage to their list of treatments.“We have a great massage therapist who has a medical background and who was trained in Europe. He emphasizes deep tissue and corrective treatments and provides a variety of different modalities of holistic therapies,” she notes, adding that he holds a diploma in hypnosis.“His specialties are energy balancing and visual guidance therapy. That treatment can significantly cut down the stress, anxiety and enhance overall healing. Guided imagery is one of the newest and most promising modalities, and has been found to provide significant stress reduction benefits and even helping participants better manage their lives in ways that would reduce stress,”Volod explains.
“Our massage therapist can provide you with the best advice for what kind of treatment will work best for you,” Volod says, “and his consultations are free of charge.”
