Contraindications:

Five days prior to a peel and five days post-treatment, we generally recommend stopping antibiotics and acne medications, such as Retin-A® and Accutane®, because of potential irritation and uneven peel penetration. Pregnant or lactating women should not have this treatment.

Side Effects:

During treatment you may experience mild burning or stinging, which is transient. After treatment, only slight irritation occurs, and you will experience moderate exfoliation. The morning after the peel is applied, you may use makeup and proceed with your daily activities.
