Lev Volod is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Sciences, institution renowned for its exceptional advanced training program for Massage Therapists with emphasis on Clinical Massage Therapy. After relocating to the United States in 1989, Lev completed numerous courses in Medical Massage Modalities, Advanced Massage Therapy, Holistic Energy Work, Reflexology, Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP. With continued strive for knowledge, proven experience, and ongoing research of related disciplines, Lev works in close partnership with his clients in guiding them to a healthier existence.
Lev's ultimate goal is to facilitate healing, relaxation, and balance at the highest possible level for each individual. Lev has been practicing massage therapy for over ten years, and has tremendous knowledge, which he's eager to share with his clients. He provides a safe, relaxing environment in which client's needs are assessed and combined techniques are applied. Lev is certified in the application of wide range of bodywork and healing methods, and has experience in working with patients of all ages and various types of disabilities. His methods are unique in that he's equally comfortable providing a nurturing, rejuvenating, relaxing massage while staying focused on the medical rehabilitative aspects, particularly when he works with clients with overworked or injured soft tissues.
In most cases, Lev relies on the unique blend of traditional Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofacial Release, and Energy alancing method, which has proven to be overwhelmingly successful for most clients. With his deep interest in alternative medicine and holistic approach to massage therapy, Lev has dedicated years of his life to studying hypnotherapy and guided imagery, both of which is he often incorporates into massage service. Lev uses the mind-and-body intervention method to ease the stress and promote a sense of peacefulness and tranquillity in clients who experience particularly stressful or difficult time in their lives. He has traveled around the world in pursuit of creative new ways to help his clients achieve harmonious state of body and soul.
