Marina Volod is president and creative director of DermaEsthetica, Inc. In her native Russia, Marina trained as a paramedical skin care specialist. Now an independent consultant, Marina has been active in the skin care industry more than 20 years. She graduated from the prestigious Russian Academy of Arts, and from the Pirogov Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Moscow.

Before moving to Portland, Marina spent 8 years working for several well-known plastic surgeons and dermatologists in Beverly Hills, California. Her expertise can be seen in her writings, which have appeared in many Los Angeles publications. She has an exceptional knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and has trained to perform the latest and most advanced treatments, including chemical peels, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, and micro-current technology.

Marina continues her education on a regular basis, traveling to skin care seminars and congresses all over the world in order to bring the latest technology and result-oriented treatments to her clientele.
